William "Willy" Thompson

William Zachary Thompson, 44, of Cherokee Village, Arkansas passed away January 13, 2023. He was born December 27, 1978 in Kansas City, Missouri, the youngest of five. He was a lover of music, the Kansas City Royals, and the Kansas City Chiefs. His smile was everything. Willy was preceded in death by his father, John Thompson Jr.; his paternal grandparents, John Thompson Sr. and Mary Jo & Chuck Edler; his maternal grandparents, George & Lillian Williams; and a niece, Sydney Curtis. Survivors include his children, Isabelle and John, both of Cherokee Village; his mother, Judith of Olathe, Kansas; his siblings: Amanda of Peculiar, Missouri, Jennifer (Kevin) Curtis of Olathe, Jason (Dara) of Shawnee, Kansas, and Sara (Shane) Wood of Olathe; ten nieces and nephews; five great-nieces; one great-nephew; and many other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be Tuesday, January 17, 2023 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the chapel of Tri-County Funeral Home at Highland, Arkansas.
