William Henry Blann, 70, of Williford, Arkansas, was born November 10, 1948, in Tempe, Arizona, to John B. and Henrietta (Puchta) Blann. William passed away September 15, 2019, in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Henry was a born-again Christian of the Baptist faith. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and had most recently worked as a golf course groundskeeper. Henry was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Curtis; and sisters, Anna Wilson and Laura McGowen. Survivors include his sisters, Henrietta (Jim) Knight and Mary Stanley; five brothers: Donald (Darlene) Taylor, Clarence Taylor, John (Charline) Blann, Joe (Sandy) Blann, and George Blann; many other relatives and friends. Visitation of family and friends will be Wednesday, September 18, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Chapel of Tri-County Funeral Home at Highland, Arkansas. Funeral service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday, also in Tri-County Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Mark Smith officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Lone Oak Cemetery near Ravenden on Peebles Bluff Road. Pallbearers include Luke Smith, Luther Smith, Jimmy Leonard, Ronnie Bailey, Roger Bailey, and John Smith. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland.
