William Morris Barnett, 74, of Cherokee Village, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2019, at White River Medical Center in Batesville, Arkansas. He was born July 20, 1944, in Combes, Texas, to Bentley and Selma (Schultz) Barnett. William was a born-again Christian and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He had worked as an electronic tech for the U.S. Department of Defense. His primary hobby was being a real shepherd of sheep on his farm. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Patricia Justice. Survivors include his wife of more than fifty years, Nancy (Davidson) Barnett, and a sister, Selma Baum, of Georgia. No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland, Arkansas.
