Willene Norris

Willene Hulett Norris, 98, of Poughkeepsie, Arkansas passed away May 17, 2024 at EagleCrest Nursing and Rehab Center in Ash Flat. She was born in Flatwoods, Arkansas to Trett and Myrtle Campbell Hulett on October 7, 1925. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lamon Norris; and her two sisters, Faye Wanda Sharp and Virginia Layne.

Mrs. Norris was a member of the Evening Shade Church of Christ and a teacher. She loved to cook for her family and enjoyed crocheting and painting. She was extremely involved in genealogy, especially in the Flatwoods area.

Survivors include her son, Robert Lamon Norris (Shera) of Spring, Texas; her daughter, Robin Puckett (Jason) of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; four grandchildren: Sara Andrews, Gina Glaser, Robert Norris II, and Jason Norris; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Freda Wallis of Batesville, Arkansas; as well as many other relatives and good friends.

Graveside service will be in Spotts Cemetery near Poughkeepsie on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at 10 a.m.  Services are entrusted to Tri-County Funeral Home, 1540 Hwy. 62/412, Highland, AR 72542.
