Wendell J. Sharp, 61, of Cherokee Village, Arkansas went to his heavenly home Saturday, December 3, 2022. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Brenda Stout Sharp; his children and their spouses: Stephanie and Julian Stech, Ashley and Aaron Ramsdell, Courtney and Markus Shumock, Aaron and Anna Sharp; nine adoring grandchildren: Layke, Ellie, Ashlynn, Jonathan, Luke, Allie Jo, Sadie, Sydney, and Logan: his siblings and their spouses: Harold and Julie Sharp, Elwin and Shirley Sharp, Norman and Beula Sharp, Regina and Travis Murphy; numerous other relatives and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Shirley Sharp. Wendell was a member of Salem First Baptist Church and worked as a Riverboat Captain on the Mississippi River. He was a master scuba diver and loved going on adventures with Brenda and the kids! He absolutely loved his children and grandchildren and will be greatly missed by all! A Celebration of Life for Wendell will be Saturday, January 14, 2023 from 12:30 to 3 p.m. at the Civic Center on Main Street in Hardy, Arkansas. All friends are invited to attend to visit with family and share memories.
