Walter Arnold

Walter E. Arnold, 87, of Evening Shade, Arkansas passed away at the Cave City Nursing Home on Saturday, June 29, 2024. He was born May 11, 1937 at Campground to Augi Naldo and Snowda Paysinger Arnold. Walter became a mechanic and was foreman of Sharp County road construction. He was a farmer who raised cattle and enjoyed fishing.

Survivors include his grandchildren: Crystal Day, Jason Arnold, Jesse McPeak, Misty Morrow, David Arnold, Michael Arnold, Nicolas Arnold, Autumn Arnold, and Sabrina Shaner; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers: H.A., R.K., Delbert, Frank, and Jimmy; one sister, Linda Taylor; and two sons, Rocky and Nicky Arnold.

A graveside service and burial will be Friday, July 5, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. in Campground Cemetery between Evening Shade and Ash Flat, Arkansas. Tony Stuntz will officiate.  Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral of Highland, Arkansas.
