Viola Mae Anderson was born in Elm Creek, Nebraska to Cecil and Ombolena (German) Horn. She departed this life in Ash Flat, Arkansas at the age of 99 years, 1 month, and 3 days. Viola was a Methodist; but foremost a Christian lady. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and quilting. Viola was an excellent seamstress; sewing lots of clothes for her family and many friends throughout the years. Her survivors include: a daughter, Susan Pouk; one son, Daniel Anderson; grandchildren, Shawn Harrell, Nathan Pouk, Crystal Lashley, Kenneth Pouk, Joseph Pouk, Stephanie Pouk, Jennifer Anderson, Cheyenne Hooker, Courtney Barrow, Emily Anderson, and Bailey Anderson; as well as many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth Anderson; twin sons, Richard and Victor Anderson; and son, David Anderson: two brothers, Donald Horn and Walter Vath; and a sister, Mary Vath. Funeral service will be held Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 2 pm in Tri-County Chapel in Highland, Arkansas. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 pm until time of service. Burial will follow in Baker Community Cemetery in Ozark Acres, Arkansas. "Always thinking of others ahead of herself, she spent her lifetime loving and worrying over her family and friends.
