Thomas Wayne Seibert

Thomas Wayne Seibert, 66, of Batesville, Arkansas, passed away September 9, 2018, in Plano, Texas. He was born May 28, 1952. He worked as an over-the-road truck driver who enjoyed fishing, working on antique cars, watching horse races and old Western movies. He was thrilled this year to see Justify win the Triple Crown. Wayne was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was preceded in death by his parents, Herb and Edna (Schmidt) Seibert. Survivors include Ruth Seibert, the mother of his children: Shane Peterson, Thomas Seibert, Tori Seibert, and Kristin Hembrey; sisters: Flora May Schmidt, Denise Medlin, Joanna Choat, Lydia Schamel, Rhoda Hutchinson, and Rebekah Wilson; brothers: Danny, Bill, David, and Ben Seibert; grandchildren: Shawn, Daspri, Kaila, Janae, Eric, Kloe, and Lily; many nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends. Visitation of family and friends will be Monday, September 17, from 1 to 2 p.m. in the chapel of Tri-County Funeral Home at Highland, Arkansas. Funeral services will begin at 2:30 p.m. Monday, September 17, at Christian Tabernacle on Hwy. 175 north of Hardy with Marty McComas officiating. Burial will follow in Eagle’s Rest Cemetery. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland.
