Steven Sanders

Steven Claude Sanders, 65, a resident of Boonville, Missouri, formerly of Hardy, Arkansas, passed away suddenly of heart failure on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at the Lakeview Healthcare facility. He was preceded in death by his father, Claude R. Sanders Jr. and son, Bradley. 

Survivors include his children: Lauren, Andrew, Chance, and Sherrie Sanders; his mother, Sue Jackson Norman; a sister, Deborah Sanders Cooper; a brother, Tim Sanders (Martha Lee); and their families.

Steve was born in Memphis, Tennessee on October 13, 1958. He moved with his family to Hardy and graduated from Highland High School in 1977. Steve served on active duty in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1979 to 1984 and received the Good Conduct Medal. He worked in the service industry prior to becoming disabled.

A graveside service will be in Oaklawn Cemetery at Highland, Arkansas on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Kay Brogdon officiating.
