Shirley Ann Heuser was born April 5, 1937, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, to George and Gladys Werner Kozar. She departed this life at her home near Hardy, Arkansas, on February 10, 2021, at the age of 83 years. Survivors include her husband, John Louis Heuser of the home; three daughters: Michelle (Gilbert) Gregory of Hardy, Amy (Bruce) Camacho and Laura (John) Irvine, both of Cumming, Georgia; three sons: Mark (Deborah) Heuser of Durham, North Carolina, Stephen (Dawn) Heuser of Olive Branch, Mississippi, and John G. Heuser of Hardy; 22 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a sister, Marilyn Wood of Schoolcraft, Michigan; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Geraldine Povenz. Shirley was an active member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Cherokee Village for many years. She enjoyed quilting and her time spent raising her family. Shirley and John loved sailing after his retirement, especially including the views of Trinidad and the Bahamas. Visitation of family and friends will be Friday, February 12, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the chapel of Tri-County Funeral Home with a Rosary at 5:30 p.m. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 13, at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Cherokee Village, Arkansas. Rosary will begin at 9:30 a.m. Arrangements are entrusted to Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland, Arkansas.
