Shari Bates

Shari Jo Bates, 58, of rural Williford, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at her home. She was born April 5, 1964 in Pocahontas, Arkansas to Joseph and Patsy Ann Lundry Virgin. Shari worked in a factory that made candles and potpourri. She loved spending time with her grandsons and enjoyed classic rock music, fishing, road trips, and bonfires. Shari was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Joann Garner and Kathy Weston; and two granddaughters, Ava and Hannah. Survivors include a son, Brandon Hackworth (Shayna) of Pocahontas; two daughters, Amy Dunn of Pocahontas and Mika Dunn (Justin Hale) of Williford; two grandchildren, Gunnar and Alvin; a brother, Michael Weston (Kristin) of Bay, Arkansas; three sisters: Debbie Rudesill of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Glenda Swager of Mississippi, and Laurie Kissick of Florida; longtime friend, Diane Godwin; many other relatives and good friends.
