Ronald D. Richmond, 67, of Ozark Acres near Williford, Arkansas, passed away September 12, 2018, in White River Medical Center at Batesville. He was born October 27, 1950, in Dyess, Arkansas. His working career was on riverboats. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, G. H. and Irene Elizabeth (Smith) Richmond, and three brothers: Gary, Randy, and Lynsol. Survivors include his sons, Lee (Martha) Coatney and Daniel (Ashley & her sons) Cates; brothers, Lanny (Vickie) Richmond and Reggie (Carolyn) Richmond; sisters, Melissa Bennett and Dametra (Junior) Helms; grandchildren: Heather (Landon) Smith, Zach & Hayleigh Helfrich, Jacob & Jaylen; great-grandchildren, Blakelyn Smith and Wyatt Cates; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends. Visitation of family and friends will be Friday, September 14, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the chapel of Tri-County Funeral Home at Highland, Arkansas. Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 15, also at Tri-County Funeral Home, with Jim Swinford officiating. Burial will follow in Williford Cemetery. Pallbearers include Trey Bennett, Corry Shempert, Junior Helms, Quade Bennett, Eddie Curtis, and Steven Scott. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland.
