Randel Lee Cullum, 82, of rural Ash Flat, Arkansas, passed away October 29, 2020, in Unity Health White County Medical Center in Searcy, Arkansas. He was born August 3, 1938, in Monette, Arkansas, and after graduating from high school proudly served his country in the U.S. Army at two different times; one was in the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Velma Sharp Cullum; a brother, Gail Cullum; and three sisters: Wanda Zelko, Hazel Liebsch, and Bea Alberda. Survivors include his wife, Sharon Bales Cullum, of the home; a daughter, Tina (Danny) Gibson of rural Ash Flat; two grandchildren, Lucas (Shelbi) and Greyson Gibson; two great-granddaughters, Sutton and Everest Gibson; two brothers, Red and Noble Cullum of Monette; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends and family including Mallie and the entire Gibson family. Celebration of Life services will be Sunday, November 1, in the Ash Flat Church of Christ. Visitation of family and friends will begin at 2 p.m. Officiating the service starting at 3 p.m. will be Tommie Boles, Bob Evins, and Jim Haney. Burial will be private at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the food pantry of Ash Flat Church of Christ, 560 Ash Flat Drive, 72513. Honorary Pallbearers include Danny, Lucas, and Greyson Gibson, Martin Carpenter, Dowl Thomas, and J. C. Holland. Due to COVID-19, the family completely understands anyone's reluctance to attend. Please respect the health and welfare of each other by wearing a mask and practicing social distance. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland, Arkansas.
