Paula (Sharp) Romine

Paula Louise (Sharp) Romine, 73, of Ash Flat, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at White River Medical Center in Batesville, Arkansas. She was born July 11, 1950 near Ash Flat to Guy and Opal (Horton) Sharp. Paula graduated from Highland High School in 1968, earned a Bachelor's degree in education, and taught kindergarten at Cherokee Elementary School. She later worked in marketing and sales.

Paula was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Travis and Stephen Sharp; a sister, Kathryn Parvin; and her husband, Randy Romine. She was of the Christian faith and loved all things horses, rodeos, and flea markets. She and her many friends had great life experiences. 

Survivors include four sisters: Hildred Johnson, Minnie Martin, Maxine Seiwert, and Kay Heintz; three brothers and their spouses: Dale and Lynn, Jesse and Melinda, Jack and Ginger Sharp; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews; a brother-in-law, Thurman Parvin; a sister-in-law, Ann Sharp; and a special friend, Jerry.

Visitation of family and friends will be Saturday, February 24 from 10 a.m. until memorial service time at 11 a.m. all in the Ash Flat Church of Christ with Doug Stone officiating. Burial was in Wiles Cemetery. Arrangements were with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland, Arkansas.
