Nancy J. Stanberry was born on March 24, 1932 in Decatur, Illinois to David Loren and Hattie V. Shively McClure. She departed this life surrounded by her loved ones at her home in Cherokee Village, Arkansas on January 7, 2023 at the age of 90 years. Nancy spent many of her working years in the healthcare industry as a registered nurse. She was a member of the Cherokee Village Baptist Church and the American Legion. Nancy enjoyed time spent abstract painting, especially transforming rocks to things of beauty. She is survived by daughter, Susan Wilson of Cherokee Village; two grandchildren, Charles Wilson and wife Windy and Kristi; two great-grandchildren, Landyn and Dakota Wilson, other relatives and friends. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Forrest Wayne Stanberry; son, Jim Stanberry; and one grandchild, Scott. Burial will be at a later date in her home State of Illinois. Arrangements are entrusted to Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland, Arkansas.
