Mike Hardin

Walter Michael "Mike" Hardin, 75, of Cherokee Village, Arkansas passed away August 6, 2024 at his home. He was born December 3, 1948 in Memphis, Tennessee to Walter and Bessie Mae King Hardin, both who preceded him in death. 

Mike worked in banking after serving in the United States Army. He showed horses in Tennessee for many years. He retired to an active life in Cherokee Village and was a member of Highland First Assembly of God. Mike loved golf and was a huge fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks. 

Survivors include his wife, Sammie; his son, Layne; his granddaughter, Layah Michelle; and many good friends. 

Memorial services with military honors will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 17, at Highland First Assembly, 33 Meadowbrook Road, Highland, AR 72542 with Pastor Jason Ellis officiating. Be prepared to "call the Hogs!"
