Max Wayne Mahon, 84, of Cherokee Village, Arkansas passed away at his home. He was born in Edgewood, Illinois to Ellis and Rose Colwell Mahon, both who predeceased him along with several brothers and sisters. He had attended college as an English major hoping to be a teacher, but life happened and Max became an ACE automotive mechanic who worked fixing cars while following another interest in building RC aircraft. Survivors include his significant other, Renee C. Brownlee of the home; sons, Mike Mahon (Kim) and Terry Mahon (Kay) as well as daughter, Michelle Greiner, all of the St. Louis, Missouri area; four grandchildren: Michael, Jenna, Nicholas, and Jennifer; many other relatives and great friends. A celebration of Max's life will be in early spring 2024 at the Bud Sanders Memorial Field.
