Marjorie Hughes

Marjorie Elizabeth McGuire Hughes, 84, of Hardy, Arkansas, passed away October 4, 2020 at her home. She was born January 13, 1936 in Mutual, Oklahoma. Margie was a member of Highland Assembly of God and enjoyed sewing and watching television game shows. She had worked at Cherokee Frame Company. Preceding her in death were her parents, William Bert and Esther Louise Colburn McGuire; a brother, Victor Bert McGuire; and a sister, Margaret Lingenfelter. Survivors include her sons, Gary (Sheila) Gilliland and Bob (Sandy) Gilliland, all of Hardy; a daughter, Mary (Larry) Yates, of Hardy; 11 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 19 great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Everett and Walter McGuire; three sisters: Bertha Hill, Naomi Wyatt, and Hazel Anston; and many other relatives and good friends.
