1946 Lucille 2025

Lucille Morgan

July 25, 1946 — March 22, 2025

Lucille Morgan was born July 25, 1946 in Violet Hill, Arkansas to Everett Issac Phillip and Edith Opal (Waggoner) White and reunited with the love of her life, Howard Morgan, on March 22, 2025 at the age of 78. She worked at many occupations including seamstress at a shirt factory; she was THE BEST caregiver ... always for others.  Her love for her family was most important, and she showed them that love especially through her efforts at baking for them: banana bread, chocolate cake, and cookies. She never met a stranger and never wanted anyone to be hungry. Lucille was a GIVER. She was a member of Highland Hills Baptist Church for more than fifteen years. Her passion was working with and protecting her farm animals.

Lucille was preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Carol Lee Martin, Charles Ray White, H. D. White, Cleo White, and Travis White.

Survivors include her kids: Billy (Tina) Gilbreath, Bobby Gilbreath, and Phyllis Gilbreath; grandchildren: Garrett, Chase (Brandi), Courtney (Lucas), Derek (Lorena) and Cloey (Jeff), Austin, Kendall (Sarah); twelve great-grandkids; siblings, Dwight White and Charlene McBride; many other relatives she loved dearly; and a host of extended family and great friends.

Funeral services will be at Highland Hills Baptist Church on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Paul Vincent officiating.  Burial will follow in Turkey Pen Cemetery near Hardy.  Pallbearers will be David Honey, Danny Taylor, Steve Garner, Ronnie Green, Corey Dietsche, and Roy Roberts.  Honorary Pallbearers include Bruce Phillips, Tommy Traw, and Tom Sherrill.

Family will receive friends in the chapel of Tri-County Funeral Home at Highland, Arkansas on Wednesday, March 26 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Turkey Pen Cemetery Fund and left at Centennial Bank in Highland.

Arrangements are entrusted to Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland.
