Lois K. Mock, 96, of Cherokee Village, Arkansas passed away June 8, 2022 at EagleCrest Nursing & Rehab in Ash Flat, Arkansas where she had resided for the past seven years. Lois was born December 18, 1925 in Harvey, Illinois to Estelle and Arthur Mock and was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Jane Quinn; brothers, Vernon and Roy Mock; and her good friend, Val Pour. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Lois attended high school in Chicago and graduated from Roosevelt University after which she started working at Time Warner as a computer control manager. During her service there, she set up computer processing in Mexico City and the Netherlands. After 32 years at Time, Inc., now Time Warner, she and Val retired to Cherokee Village where for ten years they were active in establishing and maintaining the Lifeline System within a 35 mile radius of the local hospital. Lois was actively involved in multiple community organizations that included the CV Property Owners Association and The League of Women Voters. She was a charter member of the Friends of Homeless Animals. She enjoyed golfing with the 9 and 18 Hole Ladies Golf League and bowling with the Monday Morning Ladies Bowling League. No services are planned at this time. A Columbarium service for Lois and Val will be announced at a later date.
