Lester Odell Stout, 88, of Ash Flat, Arkansas, was born March 8, 1931, in Evening Shade, Arkansas, to William Franklin and Mattie Ann (Marlin) Stout. Lester passed away October 6, 2019, at his home. He was a member of Highland Assembly of God and had worked as a drywall specialist and Highland School District bus driver. Hobbies included gardening and working with model airplanes. He loved his time spent with grandchildren. Lester was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers: William, Cecil, Andrew, Noel, and Hestel; four sisters: Ruthel, Stella, Dortha, and Florence; and a great-granddaughter, Taylor. Survivors include his wife, Wilma; daughter, Susan Elaine (Bryan) Martin; grandchildren: Corrine, Jason, Elizabeth, and Joshua; great-grandchildren: Faith, Mattie, Breyona, and Jason Jr. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, October 10, in Lorado Cemetery near Bono, Arkansas, with Legacy Hospice Chaplain Ron Helm officiating. Pallbearers include Bryan Martin, Jeff Morris, Jason Frye, Rodney Martin, Toby Trivitt, Joshua Frye. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland, Arkansas.
