Larry Jones

Larry Lee Jones, 82, of Cherokee Village, Arkansas passed away August 18, 2023 at White River Medical Center in Batesville, Arkansas. He was born October 21, 1940 in Paris, Illinois. He worked with All-Tell communications for more than forty years. More recently he was employed as a delivery driver for O'Reilly Auto Parts in Ash Flat, Arkansas. Larry enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie Leo and Mary Frances Cox Jones; a brother, Richard Jones; and a brother-in-law, Les Horton. Survivors include his children, Lee (Linda) Jones of Florida and Cindy (Richard) Humphreys of Texas; grandchildren: Jaime Jones, Peter (Clara) Jones, Elizabeth Humphreys, and William Humphreys; a sister, Joyce Horton of Illinois; a brother, Eddie (Sheila) Jones of Cherokee Village; his best friend, loving partner, and companion, Debbie Brown, with her family: Tammy Bradley, Dyllon (Lexi) Freeman, Ace and Arlee Freeman; many other relatives and good friends. A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Spring River Baptist Church, 12485 US 63 with Bro. Robert Randolph officiating. Visitation will be at 3 p.m. and services will follow at 4 p.m. Memorials are encouraged to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Memphis, TN 38101.
