Karl Andrew Nordstrom, 75, of Cherokee Village, Arkansas, was born in Galesburg, Illinois. He worked HVAC repairs and was a licensed barber. As a veteran of the U.S. Army (service in Vietnam), he belonged to VFW Post 1341. Karl was a specialist at building clocks and enjoyed golf, woodworking, traveling, and eating out. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis Elmer and Janet Elinor (Swanson) Nordstrom; his wife, Jean Ann; and a brother, David. Survivors include his daughters, Paula Jean Pierce and Angela Marie Nordstrom; a brother, Joel (Dottie) Nordstrom; sister, Gloria Gravitt; sister-in-law, Nancy Nordstrom; 12 grandchildren: Shakira Carson, Charlie Nordstrom, Trevor Nordstrom, Cherokee and Michael Stephens, Christina Carroll, Jeremy Nordstrom, Tia and Jake Sterling, Matthew Naslund, Deana Berry, and K.C. Carson; 10 great-grandchildren: Aedyn and Isabella Carson, Brandon and Laekyn VanMeir, Lucas and Ashlynn Sterling, Sebastian Stephens, Kaleb Berry, Kayden and Kaylea Chaney; as well as many other relatives and good friends. Visitation of family and friends will be Friday, August 17, from 1 to 2 p.m. in the chapel of Tri-County Funeral Home at Highland, Arkansas. Funeral services, with full military honors, will follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Chris Clem officiating.
