Joseph Daniel Nelson

Joseph Daniel Nelson, 41, of Cherokee Village, Arkansas passed away June 28, 2023 at his home. Joseph was born June 30, 1981 in Santa Ana, California. He was a builder and worked in construction with his wife, Jennifer, doing remodeling as J & J Services. He was a member of Abundant Life Church. Joseph was an ordained minister by the Calvary Chapel leadership group and taught English in Thailand where he also started a Calvary Chapel church. He was a master fisherman and a loving, caring husband, father, and friend always attempting to lead others to the Lord. He was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Daniel Nelson II. Survivors include his wife; their children: Jacob, Tyler, and Marissa Nelson, Jason, Grant, and Grace Gill; two grandchildren, Leola and Miley Nelson; his mother, Kathy Gonsalves and his father, Richard Blake Howell; two brothers, Ricky and Randy Howell; many other relatives and good friends.
