Jessie Mae Vaughn

Jessie Mae Vaughn, 91, of Ozark Acres near Williford, Arkansas, died in Little Rock on Sunday, August 19, 2018. She was born May 18, 1927, in Jacksonburg, Alabama, to Adell and Stella (Abston) Eppes. Jessie was a member of Ward Street church of Christ in Hardy, Arkansas. She enjoyed gardening, square dancing (a member of Oak Park Promenaders), and playing the mandolin. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Austin; and eight brothers and sisters. Survivors include her son, Ronnie Love; two daughters, Mary Whittemore and Brenda O’Brien; a sister, Joyce Blake; a brother, Steve Eppes; five grandchildren: Christina & Keith O’Brien, Rebecca & Elizabeth Whittemore, and Lucy Love; and a great-grandchild, Marni Leigh Rebecchi. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 22, beginning at 1 p.m. with funeral service to follow at 2 in the chapel of Tri-County Funeral Home at Highland.
