James Thomas Jackson, 81, of rural Hardy, Arkansas, was a faithful member of Old Hardy Church of Christ and enjoyed woodworking and gardening. He was a graduate of Hardy High School, completed some college courses, and had worked as an over-the-road truck driver for decades. James was preceded in death by his parents, George and Fay Jackson; two children, James Scott and Lisa Lorraine; a sister, Mary; and a granddaughter, Jessica Nicole Fox. Survivors include his wife, Brenda (Smith) Jackson; daughters, Mary Perry and Jennifer Turner; grandchildren, Jodi Fox and Jace Turner; numerous nieces and nephews; several other caring relatives; and many wonderful friends. Visitation of family and friends will be from 1:30 to 2 p.m. Thursday, October 29, in Old Hardy Church of Christ with a memorial service to follow.
