Jackie Tucker

Jackie R. Tucker, 87, of Ash Flat, Arkansas passed away Sunday, September 10, 2023 at EagleCrest Nursing and Rehab Center in Ash Flat. She was born March 15, 1936 in Oil Trough, Arkansas and was preceded in death by her parents, Irl and Mildred Langston Ruddell; a sister, Chloe Pitts; and a brother, Adler Ruddell. A member of First Baptist Church in Salem, Arkansas, Jackie loved her Lord and her family (especially grandkids). She was a voracious reader and worked alongside her husband as office manager for his medical practice. Survivors include her husband, Dr. Charles Tucker; a daughter, Kim Floyd (James) of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas; a son, Charles "Tony" Tucker (Susan) of Mineral, Virginia; three grandchildren: Jordan, Allyson, and Cody; three great-grandchildren; many other relatives and good friends. Visitation of family and friends will be Wednesday, September 13 beginning at 10 a.m. in First Baptist Church of Salem; the funeral service will be at 11 a.m. with Bro. John Hodges officiating. Burial will follow in Wiles Cemetery at Ash Flat. Pallbearers will be Johnny Ray, Jason, and Grant Hyslip, Jordan Sample, Chris and Logan Jennings.
