Jack Vlynn Huffmaster Sr., 81, of Hardy, Arkansas, passed away October 5, 2019. He was born January 19, 1938, in Ash Flat, Arkansas. Jack developed his skills as a master saddle maker and woodworker. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Jack was a member of the Masonic Lodge and had served as City Marshal for Hardy and Mammoth Spring, Arkansas. He also had worked as a Sharp County Deputy Sheriff for several years. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Claude and Dolly (Kent) Huffmaster; brothers, Leo and Kent Huffmaster; sisters: Fay Kuckenbaker, Ruth Rainey, Ramona Barron, Janet Keech; and a daughter, Samantha Huffmaster. Survivors include his wife, Wanda (Pruett) Huffmaster; sons, Jack Jr. of Hardy and David (Teresa) of Williford, Arkansas; a brother, Danny (Bertha) of Mammoth Spring; 10 grandchildren: Casey, Rebecca, Lindsey, Rachel, John, Jack III, Hannah, Nona, Joseph, and Sarah; six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; many other relatives and good friends. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 8, in the Highland Cemetery at Highland, Arkansas, with Ron Helm officiating. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland.
