J B Dill

J B Dill, 80, of rural Ash Flat, Arkansas passed away May 9, 2023 at White River Medical Center in Batesville, Arkansas. He was born August 4, 1942 in Myron, Arkansas to Jonas and Aubra Irene (Brown) Dill, both who predeceased him. J B loved his family and attended the church of Christ. He was a mechanic, carpenter, electrician, and auctioneer. He enjoyed watching western movies on television and listening to country music. J B was a member of Midwest Operating Engineers of Joliet, Illinois working in construction with heavy-duty equipment. Survivors include his wife, Wanda and daughters, Gayla (Donnie) Smith and Julie (Brad) Teague; grandchildren, Wacey (Kenzie) Smith and Justin (Emilie) Teague; great-grandchildren, Bristol and Haygen Smith; as well as many good friends. Services will be Friday, May 12 with visitation beginning at noon in the chapel of Tri-County Funeral Home in Highland, Arkansas. The funeral will follow at 1 p.m. with Ryan Lloyd officiating. Burial will be in Wiles Cemetery at Ash Flat. Pallbearers include Bobby Gilbreath, Jeremy Gross, Marcus Alvarado, Wes Gill, Bryan Phillips, and Bob Morgan. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Swetnam, Chip Master, Joe Bill Fowler, Marty Goodwin, Bob Love, and Dennis Williams. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland.
