Heather LeeAnn Carpenter was born in Hanford, California on November 14, 1988 and passed away on January 14, 2025 in Highland, Arkansas.

Heather is survived by her husband, Mart Carpenter; two beautiful boys, Landon and Hayden; her mother, Peggy Atwater and step-father Jay; sister, Kira Tippins and brother-in-law, Matt Tippins; four brothers: Phillip Gambino, Ryan Dowdy, Zachary Dowdy, and Tyler Dowdy; stepmother, Kari Dowdy; grandmother, Leotha Bishop; and five nieces and nephews: Natalie, Blake, Cole, AnnMarie, and Charlotte.

Heather was preceded in death by her father, Tim Dowdy, and grandparents: Bill Bishop and Buddy & Alberta Dowdy.

Heather graduated from Avenal High School and attended West Hills College in Lemoore, California.

She began a career in banking at FNBC in 2009. Her diligence, charismatic nature, and strong work ethic allowed her to promote and thrive as a Personal Banker.

Heather was most passionate about her two boys and husband, who she loved dearly. She enjoyed attending Landon’s games, traveling, culinary experiences with tapatio, and watching Judge Judy and Grey’s Anatomy. Heather could light up any room she walked into with her smile, was always the first to lend a helping hand, and loved making people laugh, whether she meant to or not.

Heather currently served as Treasurer of the Highland Booster Club and was a proud member of the Quad Cities Rotary Club. She was named Rotarian of the Year in 2024 and currently served as President-elect. Heather often volunteered in the community and dedicated time to supporting sporting events and reading to children at Highland Preschool. She was truly one of a kind and will be missed by everyone lucky enough to know her.

Visitation of family and friends will be Friday, January 24, 2025 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Ash Flat Church of Christ Life Center.

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 25 at 10:00 a.m. at Ash Flat Church of Christ followed by burial in Wiles Cemetery in Ash Flat, Arkansas.

The family expresses THANKS to neighbors, friends, and the entire community for overwhelming love and support.
