Haden Walker Evans, 86, of Hardy, Arkansas, passed away December 1, 2021 at White River Medical Center in Batesville. He was born August 29, 1935 in the Draft community near Hardy and became an accomplished land developer and builder. He loved gardening and enjoyed hunting and fishing. The truest love of his life was his wife of 56 years, Elnora; they were married November 27, 1965, and she survives him. Haden is also survived by two sons, Michael Willard of Bentonville and Robert Wayne Willard of Hardy; a daughter, Kathy (Jerry) Trotter of Rogers; eight grandchildren: Joey, Gary, David, Michael Jr., Jason, Amanda, Joshua, and Jeremiah; several great-grandchildren; a brother, Doyle Evans; and many other relatives and good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Eva Armstrong Evans, and two brothers, Otho and Ray Evans. Visitation of family and friends will be in the chapel of Tri-County Funeral Home in Highland, Arkansas, 1540 Hwy. 62/412, from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, December 5. The funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. with Johnny Carter officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland.
