Glenna Dell Cochran passed away on September 26, 2024 at the age of 87. She was born November 25, 1936 in Cave City, Arkansas to James B. and Minnie P. (Anderson) Johnson. Glenna was united in marriage to Leon Cochran on June 28, 1957 in Cave City, and they recently celebrated 67 years of marriage.
She was an active member and very talented pianist at Wildwood Baptist Church in Joplin, Missouri for over 30 years. Glenna was a member of the Red Hat Society in Warrenton, Missouri.
Mrs. Cochran is survived by her beloved husband, Leon, of St. Charles, Missouri; a son, Tim (Kim) Cochran of O'Fallon, Missouri; a daughter, Pam (Karl) McElroy of Palm Harbor, Florida; three grandchildren: Nicole, Noah, and Emma; two brothers, J.B. Johnson of Batesville, Arkansas and Harry Johnson of Parkville, Missouri; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers: Hiram, Norman, and Tommy Johnson; three sisters: Pearlene Sowell, Nina Westmoreland, and Ann Ella Sullivan. Glenna will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Family will receive friends at Tri-County Funeral Home in Highland, Arkansas from noon until 1:45 p.m. on Friday, October 4, 2024. A graveside service will be held in Highland Cemetery at 2 p.m.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Pitman Funeral Home of Wentzville, Missouri and Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland, Arkansas.
