Georgia Mae Grissom, 80, of Ash Flat, Arkansas, passed away July 1, 2019, at her home. She was born February 8, 1939, in Zion, Arkansas, to Edward and Mary Whaley Arnold. Survivors include her daughter, Regina (Tim) Abney of Agnos, Arkansas, and son, Kevin (Amy) Grissom of Ash Flat; grandchildren: Josh (Shanna) Smith, Zac Smith, Kailee (Avery) Johnson, and Payne (Brooklyn) Abney; great-grandchildren: Mickayla, Talmadge, Lyndee, and Deacon Smith; a sister, Rhea Rainwater; six brothers: Ray, James, Jerry, Demmie, Raymon, and Lee Arnold; and many nieces and nephews, other relatives, and good friends. Visitation of family and friends will be Wednesday, July 3, beginning at 10 a.m. in First Baptist Church of Hardy. Funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. with Dr. Larry Kindrick officiating. Burial will be in Old Baptist Cemetery in Ash Flat. Pallbearers will be Josh Smith, Avery Johnson, Payne Abney, Johnny Ray Hyslip, Jim Hansen, and Talmadge Smith.
