Eugene Joseph "Gene" Wyble, 70, of Cherokee Village, Arkansas passed away August 2, 2021 at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mtn. Home, AR. He was born November 5, 1950 to Joseph William and Verlia Madeline (Noel) Wyble in Opelousas, Louisiana. Gene became a career military man including service in the Vietnam War. He was a ham radio enthusiast whose call sign was KF5F. He was also a proud member of the Air Force TACP/ROMAD, an ardent 2nd Amendment supporter, and enjoyed shooting sports. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Ben Wyble; and a sister, Geraldine Hobgood. Survivors include his wife, Brenda; sons, Jeremy of Kyle, Texas and Ramey (Amanda) of Phoenix, Arizona; three grandchildren: Samantha, Uziel, and Rivkah; a brother, Charles (Virginia) Wyble Sr. of Denham Springs, LA; a sister, Joan Duncan (David) of Mt. Herman, LA; numerous other relatives and good friends. A memorial service with military honors is scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, August 6 in the chapel of Tri-County Funeral Home at Highland, Arkansas.
