Gary Baeten

Gary Alan Baeten, 60, of rural Ash Flat, Arkansas passed away Saturday, March 18, 2023 at his home. He was born July 21, 1962 in Appleton, Wisconsin to Marvin and Helen Grissman Baeten, both who preceded him in death. Gary was a member of a large family and became a truck driver and mechanic. He was good at many jobs. His passion was riding motorcycles, and he enjoyed being outdoors fishing and hunting. Gary attended Light in the Wilderness church near Ash Flat. Survivors include his wife, Amanda; his children: Dezirae Lakota (Forrest) of Ringle, WI, Jacobie Baeten (Celeste) of Picayune, MS, Jozlynn Baeten (Richard) of Picayune, MS, and Anthony McCorkle (Trystenne) of Merrill, WI; 19 grandchildren; three brothers: Marv (Jeanne), Doug (Sharon), and Steve (Mary); three sisters: Mona Luedtke (Steve), Pat Baeten, and Kris Baeten (Greg Blohowiak); countless nieces and nephews; many other relatives and good friends. Services will be Friday, March 24 at Light in the Wilderness church with visitation beginning at 11 a.m. The funeral will begin at noon with Pastor Stan Jones officiating.
