Frances Williams

Frances A. Williams, 97, of Cherokee Village, Arkansas, was born August 16, 1922, in Columbia City, Indiana, to James Harvey and Zelma (Hile) Palmer. She passed away March 10, 2020, at EagleCrest Nursing and Rehab Center in Ash Flat, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert L. Williams; and two sisters: D’Maris Grant and Dorathea Tricker. Survivors include her daughter, Barbara (Stephen) Lawrence of Evans Mills, New York and her son, Lee Robert (Linda) Williams of Orlando, Florida; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; other relatives and good friends. Frances was a member of the Cherokee Village United Methodist Church, CV Women’s Golf Association, and several bridge clubs. She had worked as a clerk for a teachers’ retirement fund. The family will have a memorial service at a later date. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland, Arkansas.
