"A Life Well-Lived" ~~ DeLoris Tucker Lawrence was born August 22, 1927 in Kittle, Arkansas and passed away December 25, 2020 in Aberdeen, Mississippi at the age of 93 years, 4 months, and 3 days. She was a good wife, mother, employee, and servant of God, and she was the ultimate caregiver to her mother. A child of the Great Depression and World War II, DeLoris was truly a member of the "Greatest Generation." She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy A. and Tressie D. Tucker; two brothers, LeRoy and Weston Tucker; her husband, Herman Lawrence; three grandchildren: Adam Stone, Jordan Stone, and Jerron Stone; three great-grandchildren: Garrett Batterton, Harrison Arthur Roy Stone, and Hattie Mae Stone. Survivors include her four sons: Doug Stone and Brenda of Aberdeen, Jeff Stone of Hardy, Arkansas, Garry Lawrence and Carol Anne of Cherokee Village, Arkansas, and Larry Lawrence of Cherokee Village; ten grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews; and many good friends. Visitation of family and friends will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 30, in the chapel of Tri-County Funeral Home at Highland, Arkansas. Funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Wiles Cemetery at Ash Flat, Arkansas. Following the State of Arkansas COVID-19 directives, Tri-County Funeral Home practices social distancing, keeping a 6-foot distance between one another. Face masks are required to enter the building and to be worn at all times.
