David Ashley Polliard was born the son of Arthur Edward and Mitsue (Miyazono) Polliard in Fullerton, California. He departed this life in Batesville, Arkansas at the age of 62 years.
David enjoyed campfires, fishing, teaching, fabricating, tinkering, and making people laugh while sharing his personal life stories. He was Papa Dave to his twelve grandchildren and will be remembered as loving, passionate, and devoted. David was strong-willed, admirable, respected, exploring, honest, determined, and an inspiring hero to all of his family!
He is survived by his wife, Sandra, of the home in Hardy; sons, Joshua Polliard of Gig Harbor, Washington, Steve Sugamele of Ocala, Florida, Westly White of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Brandon White of Watertown, New York, and Michael Polliard of Apple Valley, California; grandchildren, Naythan, Savannah, Aidan, Hailey, Seth, Jacob, Deegan, Ryan, Ian, Stryker, Aubry, and Mia; two brothers, Eddy Polliard of Idaho, and Leroy Polliard of California; several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
David was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Adam Polliard.
A Celebration of Life drop-in will be Sunday, November 24, 2024 at his home from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m.
Services were entrusted to Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland.
