David Hooker

David Edmoure Hooker, 85, of Cherokee Village passed away at his home March 30, 2023. He was born March 2, 1938 in Kankakee, Illinois to Orville and Alice Normandin Hooker, both who preceded him in death along with an infant brother, Daniel; his wife, Jewell; and a son, David Lee. He served in the U.S. Army National Guard, enjoyed reading and fishing, and had worked on a farm, at a boat company, and at Lowe's. Survivors include his daughter, Barbara Tate (John) and his son, Stephen Allen Hooker; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; a brother, Dennis Hooker; three sisters: Julianna Flores, Patricia Boylan, and Deborah Boylan; many other relatives and good friends. A memorial service will be Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 10 a.m. in First Baptist Church of Cherokee Village, where Mr. Hooker was a member. Bro. Larry White and Bro. Chris Thorman will officiate. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland, Arkansas.
