Dana Michelle Murphy, 46, of Ash Flat, Arkansas, passed away January 20, 2021. She was born February 28, 1974 in Pocahontas, Arkansas. Dana had worked for a college dean; she loved children and enjoyed watching movies. Visiting with family and friends provided great pleasure in her life. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Survivors include her parents: Debbie Cruse DePriest of Mountain Home, and Bob and Jan Murphy of Ash Flat; her sister, Shannon (Tom) Ezell of Batesville, Arkansas; brothers: Derek (Heather) DePriest of Conway, Arkansas and Jerrod (Christina) Murphy of Ash Flat; nieces and nephews: Shannah (Corey) Goodman, Emma, Anna Claire, and Ella Ezell, Case DePriest, Gillian and Tristan Murphy; many other relatives and good friends who loved Dana. Celebration of Life service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 23, 2021 in First Baptist Church of Cherokee Village, Arkansas with Dr. Larry White and Bro. Jackie Pickett officiating. Family will receive friends at the church from 1 p.m. until service time.
