Christine Isabelle Ewers, 74, of Cherokee Village, Arkansas passed away December 13, 2023 in a Batesville, Arkansas hospital. She was born January 25, 1949 in Sparta, Wisconsin and was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Henry and Genevieve J. Lopnow Hoeft; two brothers, Robert and David Hoeft; and two sisters, Carolyn Hadfield and Janet Rick.
Christine was a member of the United Methodist Church and became an exceptional organist for several churches. She was first chair oboe in her high school band and also performed as a majorette. She loved to travel and play bingo. Her special love was for her children, grandchildren, and great-grands.
Survivors include her husband, David Earl Ewers; a son, Burke Ewers (Adrienne); a daughter, Michelle Holton-Ewers; seven grandchildren: Cristopher (Patricia), Chance (Samantha), Jackson, Parker, Maxwell, Landon, and Bentlee; three great-grandchildren: Adeline, Olivia, and Mia; two brothers, Richard Hoeft (Therese) and Thed Hoeft (Patty); a sister, Helen Hogan (George Young); many other relatives and good friends.
Visitation of family and friends will be Wednesday, December 20 beginning at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Tri-County Funeral Home, 1540 Hwy. 62-412, Highland, Arkansas. The memorial service will start at 11 a.m. to glorify God's "Amazing Grace" in Christine's life.
