Chris Williams

Christopher Glynn Williams, 30, of Hardy, Arkansas passed away January 24, 2021 at his residence. He was born March 16, 1990 in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Chris worked in retail sales and became known for his sincere desire to help others. He was well-liked by his friends because he was kind and respectful to anyone he met. His main hobby was the enjoyment of playing computer games. He was preceded in death by his dad, Herbert "Herbie" G. Williams; grandparents, Herbert and Rubie (DeFries) Williams; and a special great-aunt Bessie Seagraves. Survivors include his mother, Peggy Long (Mike) of Hardy; his son: Braxton Williams of Hardy; brothers, Eli (Jacy) Long of Wynne, Arkansas and Ian Long of Hardy; grandmother, Debbie Finkbeiner of Conway, Arkansas; grandfather, Jim Prater (Tonya) of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas; many other loving relatives and good friends. Visitation of family and friends will be Thursday, January 28, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the chapel of Tri-County Funeral Home at Highland, Arkansas. Covid-19 rules of wearing masks and social distancing will apply within the funeral home. A graveside service will be Friday, January 29, at 10 a.m. in Liberty Hill Cemetery with Johnny Carter officiating.
