Carylon Sue Drake

Carylon Sue Drake was born in Omar, Missouri on July 18, 1941 to Wilbert Virgil and Mildred Eugene (Clark) Rutledge. She departed this life in Batesville, Arkansas on September 22, 2022 at the age of 81 years. Carylon was employed as a rehab specialist in healthcare for many years. She loved quilting, crafting, travelling, and time spent with her family; especially her grand and great-grandchildren. Carylon was loved deeply and will be greatly missed! She is survived by a son, Robert Sharp (Michele) of Hardy; two daughters, Angie Prine of Nevada, Missouri, and Donna Strack (Jesse) of Goodson, Missouri; two sisters, Betty Jo Smith and Judy Pittman (Joe); brother, Dwain Rutledge; six grandchildren, Lee, Shannon, Jesse, Correy, Brandon, and Colby; ten great-grandchildren; many other relatives, and a host of friends. Carylon was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Raymond Drake; one grandson, Michael; and one great-grandson, Matthew. Private services will be held at a later date.
