Brenda McCall

Brenda Kay McCall, 79, of rural Ash Flat, Arkansas passed away March 9, 2021 at her home. She was born November 11, 1941 in Beech Grove, Arkansas to Millard Lester and Mary Ruth (Bellk) Cooper. Brenda was of the Christian faith and attended Ash Flat United Methodist Church. She enjoyed long walks and truck rides on the countryside roads taking in natural wonders, and she actively participated in the Red Hat Society and Cherokee Swim Club. Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Lloyd McCall; sons, Kelley (Tara) Maag of Paragould, Arkansas and Stan Cooper (Angie) Maag of Murfreesboro, Arkansas; grandchildren: Quinton (Courtney), Reid, Rachel, and Zoe Maag; great-grandchildren: Allison, Baylor, and Eden; a sister, Carolyn June DeMent of Jacksonville, Florida; many other relatives and good friends. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Jimmy Lester Cooper; and a son, Rodney Gale Maag. Family will have services at a later date. In lieu of flowers and plants, please make donations to any local area food bank. Arrangements are entrusted to Tri-County Funeral Home in Highland, Arkansas.
