Billy Mac Haney, 73, of Hardy, Arkansas passed away March 7, 2021. He was born October 9, 1947 in Michigan to Mac Ray and Letheta (Duncan) Haney. Bill was a member of Spring River Baptist Church and worked as a concrete finisher. He loved fishing, hunting, car racing, showing and racing horses. His family was most important to him daily. Survivors include his wife, Joan (Holloway) Haney of the home; a son, Tracy (Stacey) Haney of Hardy; granddaughters, Chelsy (Trey) Bailey of Prairie Grove, Arkansas and Bayley (Dave) Miller of Mountain Home; great-grandchildren: Emma, Austen Claire, Jay Allen, Karder Kate, and Laura; brothers, Stanley (Romona) Haney of Ash Flat and James Ray Haney; many other relatives and good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Deborah Evans and Catherine Sisco; and a grandson, Trey Austen Haney. Visitation of family and friends will be Wednesday, March 10, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the chapel of Tri-County Funeral Home at Highland. Funeral service will be Thursday, March 11, at 10 a.m. in the Tri-County Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jared Russell officiating. Burial will follow in Baker Community Cemetery northeast of Hardy off Hwy. 175. Pallbearers will include Clint Shackelford, Jeff Stroud, Corey Dietsche, Jason Russell, Ron Harper, and Mike Floyd. In lieu of flowers or plants, the family encourages donations to Pocahontas Dialysis Clinic, Discovery Region 4, 404 Camp Road, 72455 - Attn: Alex Brewer or to a charity of the donor's choice.
