Betty Cruse

Betty Jean Cruse was born in Sitka, Arkansas to Franklin P. and Cora Lois (Gipson) Gann on Christmas day in 1946. She departed this life in Jonesboro, Arkansas at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House on May 6, 2024 at the age of 77 years.

Betty was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church of Sitka for many years. She loved her family, enjoyed reading, especially westerns, and was an exceptional seamstress. Betty loved spending time in the garden tending to and watching all of her flowers grow.

Survivors include two daughters, Rhonda Cruse of Williford, Arkansas and Karen Cruse of Aspen Springs, Colorado; grandson, Anthony Lazzaretto; great-grandson Zander Blu; many other friends and relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, R.C. Cruse; one sister, Ann Chastain; and two brothers, Leroy and Frank Gann Jr.
