Bennie Overton

Bennie Glenn Overton, 86, of Williford, Arkansas passed away December 19, 2024 at his home. He was born February 25, 1938 in James, Texas to Joe and Hazel Overton and was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters as well as a son, Bennie Overton Jr. and one great-grandchild. 

Survivors include his wife, Pearl (Kimbrell) Overton; five sons: Sabastian Glenn Overton, Trey Overton, Robert Deen (Karen), Charles Deen (Cass), and Bill Holliman; two daughters, Lisa Deen and Missy Dugger (Ryan); 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; other relatives and good friends.

Bennie was a career military man in the United States Air Force serving his country more than twenty years and working as a master electrician. He was a member of the American Legion and enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing in the snow, and driving just to drive. 

Visitation of family and friends will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 24, 2024 in the chapel of Tri-County Funeral Home at Highland, Arkansas. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m.  Burial with full military honors will be in Evening Shade/Sharp Cemetery in Evening Shade, Arkansas.
