Belva Petit

Belva Rose Petit, 89, of Ash Flat, Arkansas, passed away at her home Tuesday, October 1, 2019.  She was born August 22, 1930 in Melbourne, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Martha (Yapp) Thornton; her husband, Marland Petit; four sisters: Bernice, Barbara, Edith, and Jane; three brothers: Paul, Benjamin, and Claude (Archie); and two grandsons. Survivors include her son, Frederick Petit; four daughters: Cynthia Adcock, Carol Barber, Rebecca Thomson, and Lori King; 20 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be at a later date. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland, Arkansas.
