Arthur "Moe" Sliger

Arthur "Moe" Sliger, 71, of Ash Flat, Arkansas passed away at his home Saturday, September 16, 2023. He was born October 18, 1951 in Johnson City, Tennessee and became a builder remodeling houses. He was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church and loved fishing and deer hunting. Moe was preceded in death by his parents, Chester Lee and Marjorie Jane Rogers Sliger; two brothers, Bill and Dub Sliger, and three sisters: Joyce Kinley, Brenda Cocker, and Jayne Cloyde. Survivors include his wife, Lydia Wolverton Sliger; two sons: Mark Sliger of the home and Scottie Walls of Mooreville, Mississippi; a special granddaughter, Shannon Sliger; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Linda Collins of Elizabethton, Tennessee; many other relatives and good friends. Visitation of family and friends will be Monday, September 25, from 4 to 5 p.m. at Crossroads Baptist Church in Ash Flat with a memorial service to follow. Moe will be missed and remembered.
