Jim Patterson

Jimmy Houston Patterson, 70, of Hardy, Arkansas, passed away February 25, 2018, at his home. He was born June 14, 1947, in Batesville, Arkansas. Jim was of the Baptist faith and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He had worked as the operator of a convenience store and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and boating. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harlan Houston and Ora Lue (Blevins) Patterson; a brother, Harold Patterson; and two sisters, Linda Lafitte and Frances Jones. Survivors include his sons: Jerry Patterson of Hardy, Jason Patterson of Batesville, Terry Lee of Slayden, Tennessee, Gary Lee of Pegram, Tennessee, and Larry Lee of Nolensville, Tennessee; two sisters: Emma Ballard of Batesville and Patsy Garner of White Hall, Arkansas; three brothers: Oscar Patterson of Marion, Arkansas, Donald Patterson of Cave City, Arkansas, and Johnny Patterson of North Little Rock, Arkansas; grandchildren: Anna, Kayla, Johnny, and Stephen; and many other relatives and good friends. Visitation of family and friends will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 1, in the chapel of Tri-County Funeral Home at Highland, Arkansas. Memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. with Steve Stevenson officiating. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland.
